Juan Manuel "Manny" Flores, Jr.

Juan Manuel “Manny” Flores Jr., 35 of Decatur went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 8th, 2025.

Funeral is to be held at First Baptist Church in Decatur at 11am Monday, July 14th with burial proceeding at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Manny was born March 2nd, 1990 to Juan and Imelda Flores in Decatur, Texas. He married his love, Lina McDowell on May 27th, 2017 in Decatur. Manny graduated with an associates degree from Weatherford College and was an I.T. Tech Administrator for Legend Bank. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandson and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

Pallbearers will include: Andrew Lara, Adrian Lara, Jesse Flores, Erick Flores, Danny Galvan, Axel Flores, Lemi Del Cid Flores, Ulises Arguello, Colin McInerney, Rodney Roberts, Victor Pedroza, Dalton Barringer, Jacob Mayberry and Josh McDowell

Manny is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Oscar Flores, and Clotario Hernandez; Uncle Mario Flores and cousin Bryan Galvan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lina Flores of Decatur; his son, Liam Flores; his daughter, Layken Flores; his parents, Juan and Imelda Flores of Decatur; brothers, Jason and Jon Flores; grandmothers, Rosa Flores and Hermenegilda Pulido-Bernal; Mother and Father in law; Angie and Charlie Moore of Paradise; sister in laws; Courtney and husband Jacob Mayberry, Payton and husband Colton Guinn; brother in laws; Josh and wife Kasey McDowell and Noah Moore; as well as extended family and a host of friends.
