Joyce Juanell Vess-Inman

Boyd~ Joyce Juanell Vess-Inman, 81, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Memorial Service is 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Boyd. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Joyce was born on March 9th, 1941, to Clarence and Della (Gaston) Vess in Boyd, Texas. She was a retired hairdresser and was a lifelong resident of Boyd, Texas and Wise County.  She was united in marriage to Doyle Inman on September 1st, 1961 in Boyd and were together until his passing on June 19, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Della Vess; her husband, Doyle Inman; her sisters, Louise Parkey, Margaret Vess, Doris Jolly, and Susanne Lowe; her brothers, Herman Wolfe and Ronnie Vess.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Jeff Inman of Boyd; her daughter, Julie Hammon and husband Jason of Boyd; her beloved grandchildren, Corbin Oates and wife Samantha and her future 1st great-grandchild, of Decatur and Chandler Lambert and husband Tony of Boyd; her sister, Margie Inman and husband Robert of Boyd, and Barbara Hightower and husband Jerry of Boyd; her sister-in-law’s, Deyon Vess Moore and Nina Wolfe; many loved nieces and nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
