Joyce Elaine Rich

Bridgeport ~ Joyce Elaine Rich, 72, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday April 4, 2018 in Paradise.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday April 6, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church in Decatur with burial in Sweetwater Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Dr. Van Gardner will officiate. Pallbearers include Levi Hall, Chad Hall, Rusty Tolbert, Derrick Ratliff, Johnny Lambert and Danny Lambert.

Joyce was born on October 4, 1945 to Floyd and Margaret (Caraway) Meador in Orange, Texas. She was united in marriage to Curtis Rich on July 3, 1964 in Decatur. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Ronnie Lynn Rich; her brother, James Meador; her sisters Bobbie Stone, Bonnie Holland and Vera Moore.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Curtis Rich; her son, Dalton Rich and wife Adara of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; her daughters, Robin Rich Hall of Decatur and Patty Tolbert and husband Frank of Decatur; her grandchildren, Levi Hall, Chad Hall, Trisha Ratliff and husband Derrick, Rusty Tolbert and wife Kathleen, LaDara Staggs, Dallon Staggs and wife Kisha; her great grandchildren, Kaydon, Raelinn, Brody, Colt, Heath, Emmitt and Dallas; her brothers, Wylie Meador and wife Suzette of Decatur, Donald Meador and wife Barbara of Decatur, Roy Meador and wife Linda of Decatur; and her sister Dorothy Lambert of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
