Joyce Eileen (Johnson) Mcgrady

Boyd ~ Joyce Eileen McGrady, 83, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, December 12, 2018, in Decatur.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2018, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel Boyd with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Gerre Joiner will officiate. Pallbearers include Martin Zeigler, Jacob Slater, Nathan Nadeau, Maxwell Slater, and Samuel Keto.

Joyce was born May 19, 1935, in Moline, Ill., to Raynald and Veryl (McCollison) Johnson. She married William McGrady. Joyce retired as a real estate broker.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Dean Zeigler; second husband David Ralph Willits; third husband William McGrady; fourth husband Rudell Strickland; and sister Sandy Raine.

She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Slater and husband, Gregory, of Tucson, Ariz., and Carla Patterson and husband, John, of Corpus Christi; son Martin Zeigler and wife, Vanessa, of Flagstaff, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
