Decatur ~ Joseph Peter Alvarez, 85, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 in Decatur.
Joseph was born on September 6, 1931 to Joseph and Emma (Leppin) Alvarez in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was united in marriage to Lucy Eisler on December 31, 1972 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Joseph retired from Aeronautical Engineering.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Lucy Alvarez of Alvord; his son, Claudio Alvarez; his 2 daughters, Marcella, Carolina; his 3 step sons, Steven, Arthur, Edward Moss; his 13 grandchildren; and a host of friends.
