Chico ~ John Jr. Salazar, 46, self employed , went to be with our Lord Tuesday, May 5, 2015 in Chico.

Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mexican Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate. Pallbearers include Johnny Davila, Tommy Salazar, Edward Martinez, Josh Vidal, Reggie Johnson, and Shelton Garcia.

John was born on March 26, 1969 to John Sr. and Betty (Davila) Salazar in Bridgeport.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Salazar.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his father, John Sr. Salazar of Bridgeport; his partner, Melissa Enriquez of Chico; his son, Alexander sessions and wife Lori of Azle; his daughter, Brittany Ann Salazar of Crafton; his brothers, Enos Salazar and wife Sarah of Chico, Pete Salazar of Bridgeport, Brandon Curtis Silletti of Fort Worth, Jon Jon Salazar of Bridgeport, Jacob Jacobs of Decatur; his sisters, Sofia Salazar of Fort Worth, and Julia Ann Salazar of Fort Worth; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
