BOYD -- Johnny Mercer, 69, a retired construction worker, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, May 20, in Boyd. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Tuesday in Boyd Cemetery. Brant Hawkins officiating.
Johnny was born to John Allen and Lillie Cleo (Dean) Mercer on December 30,1940 in Boyd,Texas.He served in the Marines and Army.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his Mother, Lillie Adams of Boyd, sisters, LaVenia Collier and husband Rick of Fort Worth,JoAnn Russell of Fort Worth and brother, Tom Mercer and wife Kelly of Saginaw.Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
