Johnny Dee Freeman

Paradise ~ Johnny Dee Freeman, 85, went to be with our Lord Monday, January 16, 2023 in Decatur.

Memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28th, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Johnny was born on August 8, 1937 to Otis and Opal (Tate) Freeman in Agra, Oklahoma. He was a proud retiree from the United States Air Force and served his country well.  Johnny was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Opal Freeman; 6 siblings, Robert, Donald, Charles, Joe Freeman, Norma Harper, and Shirley Cotta.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are 2 daughters, Linda Cole of Paradise and Didra Lee of Paradise; 4 grandsons, Jonathan Lee, Justin Lee and wife Ashley, Casey Cole and wife Katye, and Cory Cole; 5 great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Oliver, Brooklyn, Landon, and Cohen; nephew, Tommy Phillips; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
