John Wesley Stucki

 John Wesley Stucki, age 82, of Decatur, Texas, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, August 1st, 2026, passing peacefully at home while surrounded by his family.

John was born on October 6, 1943, to Harvey and Anna (Wittwer) Stucki in St. George, Utah. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. He began his executive career with Milne Truck Lines in 1965 and retired in 2007 from Conway Western Express. John was a devoted husband to Martha (Samora), with whom he was united in marriage on October 25, 1980. He was the father of six children, grandfather of thirteen grandchildren, and great-grandfather of four great-grandchildren. John was also a brother to four siblings, an uncle, a cousin, and a cherished friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Anna Stucki; and by his siblings, Cleo Mathis (and Jack Mathis), Harvey Bruce Stucki (and Cheryl Cox Stucki), Ila Clare Lundberg (and Jim Lundberg), and Stephen Wittwer Stucki (and Pearl Stucki).

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Martha Rae Stucki; his children, Wesley Kelton Stucki and wife Serena, Konnie Lynn Davis and husband Glen, Kristen Lee Stucki and husband Billy Dassinger, Tamara Rae Shafer and husband Richard, Nichol Stucki Haddix and husband Todd, and Anna Michelle Offner and husband Beau; his grandchildren, Max Stucki, Katie Dennis, Kandice Elliott, Kolton Davis, Madeleine Shafer, Drake McCann, Mitchell McCann, Kasia Kaphan, Wyatt Haddix, Weston Haddix, Moriah Offner, Grace Offner, and Brayden Offner; his great-grandchildren, Kaden Dennis, Karsen Dennis, Jethro Kaphan, and Mirabelle Kaphan; as well as extended family and a host of friends.
