John Hladky

Paradise ~ John Hladky, 93, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, December 17, 2025 in Paradise.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on January 3, 2026 at Jehovah Shalom Church in Henderson, Texas.

John was born on December 16, 1932 to Joseph and Mary (Kitko) Hladky in Bedford, Ohio. He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Florek on October 21, 1953 in Maryland. John proudly served our country in the United States Army. He owned a scrap metal business, where he loved putting in hard work and seeing the results. On top of that, he was a master carpenter, bringing a friendly touch to every project he took on. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and a friend to many that will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Hladky; his wife, Mary Ann Hladky; his siblings, Joe Hladky, Tom Hladky, Lewis Hladky, George Hladky, Marga Molodec and her husband Chuck, and Mae Dvorak and her husband John.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Mark Hladky and his wife Brenda of Paradise, K. John Hladky and his wife Londa of Huntsville, Alabama, and Kelly Franks and her husband Jim of Melbourne, Florida; his grandsons, Dalton Hladky and his wife Lauren, Micah Hladky and his wife Shelby, Benjamin Hladky and his wife Morgan, Hunter Hladky, and Wylie Franks; his granddaughters, Maci Clemmons and her husband Martez, KC Quint and her husband Kenneth, and Cami Hladky; 8 great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
