John M. Dillinder

Bridgeport ~ John M. Dillinder, 66, went to be with our Lord on Friday, September 18, 2026, in Bridgeport.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 26th, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.

John was born on March 15, 1960, to Harold G. and Betty E. (Cox) Dillinder in Ranger. He spent many hardworking years in the oilfield before retiring. His family was his greatest joy, and the love, strength, and memories he shared with them will forever remain in their hearts. John was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Betty Dillinder.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Nik Dillinder, Justine Lackey and her husband, Brady of Miami, Texas, and Drexell Dillinder and his wife, Deanna of Bridgeport; 5 grandchildren; his sisters, Cheryl Manske, Vicki Lehmann, and Carolyn Wright; other relatives and a host of friends.
