John was born on January 9, 1943 to Pete and Juanita (Garrison) Cooley in Dallas, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Robin Albarghuthi of Mansfield and Stephanie Cooley of Mansfield: his sister, Phyllis Standard of Mertzon, Texas; Friend and Partner, Tim Collins of Sugarland; 7 grandchildren.
