Newark ~ Joe Edmond Underwood, 55, owner/operator of a feed store went to be with our Lord Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in Newark.
Graveside service is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Family will receive friends 7:00-9:00 p.m. Monday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate.
Joe was born January 24, 1958 to Albert and Ruby (Anderson) Underwood in Fort Worth, Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Underwood and his brother, Albert Underwood II.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his father, Albert Underwood of Newark; his brother, Gary Underwood and wife Sherry of Newark; his sister, Naomi Landry and husband David of Suwanee, Georgia; 3 nephews, Gary (BB) Underwood II of Saginaw, Christopher Landry of Suwanee, Georgia, and Michael Landry of Suwanee, Georgia; his niece, Stacy Chalmers; other relatives and a host of friends.
