Chico ~ JoAnn “Bobo” Parker, 74, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, May 14, 2026, in Chico.

JoAnn was born on June 24, 1951, to Reaford and Edith Mae (Lawson) McDaniel in Montague. She was united in marriage to William Dwyane Parker on June 27, 1986, in Crafton. JoAnn cherished her time as a teacher’s aide at Head Start before retiring, where she positively impacted many lives. She was also a devoted member of Central Baptist Church in Bowie. JoAnn was a beloved wife, mother, step-mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Marie Cox and Joyce Mathews; her brothers, Wayne McDaniel and Lark McDaniel; her grandson, Randall Roper; and her step-daughter, Kristi Harrington.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, William Dwayne Parker; her children, Johnny McDaniel and his wife, Susan of Alvord, Tonya Blakley and her husband, Billy of Denton, Kyle McDaniel and his wife, Melissa of Springtown, Melissa Morrow and her husband, Ryan of Chico, and Brennon and Braxton Parker of Chico; her step-daughter, Brandi Parker; her grandchildren, Michael and Ty McDaniel, Brittany Rodgers, Tristan Roper, and Madison Burton of Pilot Point; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
