Jo Ann (Moffett) Stockard

Chico ~ Jo Ann Stockard, 77, a retired bonder, went to be with our Lord Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Chico.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Rev. Martin Richardson will officiate. Pallbearers include Gary Stufflebeme, Blake Stockard, Tim Stockard, Jason Brents, Jim Koesters, Clay Guthrie, Chris Hendler, and Guy Doster.

Jo was born on December 21, 1937 to L.B. and Joyce (McMakin) Moffett in Fort Worth. She was united in marriage to Carroll Stockard on October 30, 1982 in Weatherford. Jo was retired from Bell Helicopter. She was a member of the Sand Flat Art Association and Wise County Art Guild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jerry Lee Stufflebeme; her daughter, Jana Kay Stufflebeme; and her brother, Donald Lee Moffett.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Carroll Stockard of Chico; her sons, Gary Stufflebeme and wife Sharon of Colleyville, Blake Stockard of Chico, Tim Stockard and wife Lisa of Fort Worth, and Tony Stockard and wife Juliette of Anchorage, Alaska; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Nicole, and Heidi Stufflebeme, Jason Brents and Jennifer Merritt, Stetson, Shelby, Jane, Charlie, and Boyd Stockard; her great granddaughters, Joylee and Mackenzie; other family members and a host of friends.
