BOYD -- Jimmy Brooks Ware, 59, a retired agriculture teacher for Boyd Independent School District, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, in Decatur. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Boyd. Burial: Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Jimmy was born Nov. 7, 1946, in Abilene. He was a member of the Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas, the Wise County Retired Teachers Association, and the Texas Longhorn Association. He was preceded in death by his sister, Bessie Dianne Martin.
Survivors: His wife of 38 years, Linda Ware of Boyd; son, Brooks Ware and wife, Morelley of Kingswood, Texas; grandchildren, Matthew and Madison Ware; parents, Matt and Dean Ware of Hico, Texas; niece, Hope McCraken of Killeen, Texas; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be: Jay Erickson, Kyle Erwin, Kelly Doster, Jackie Read, Jason Nelon, Scott and Nelon.
