Jimmy Richardson

Rhome ~ Jimmy Richardson, 74, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, December 26, 2018, in Rhome.

Graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2018, at Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Mike Boaldin will officiate. Honorary pallbearers are John Peterson, David Teaff, Chuck Wilson, Curtis Snell, Terry Snell, and Virgil Snell.

Jimmy was born on June 27, 1944, to J.B. Richardson and Geneva (Powell) Richardson in Brownwood, Texas. He was united in marriage to Wanda Sue Nelson on July 27, 1963, in Brownwood, Texas. Jimmy was a retired machinist for J-Six and Pyle machine shop. He was a member of the Rhome Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 sisters.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Wanda Richardson of Rhome; his daughters, Kay Ashley of Rhome, Beth McCauley and husband Terry of Gordon; his sons, Matt Richardson and wife Angie of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Brent Richardson of Rhome; his grandchildren, Nicole, Andrew, Kelly, Kevin, Kaylen, Devon, Meredith, Emily, Garrett, and Gracie; his great grandchildren, Bella, Carter and 3 on the way; numerous extended family, and a host of friends.
