Jimmy Remmele

Bridgeport ~ Jimmy Remmele, 65, of Paradise, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, December 11, 2018, in Decatur.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Cottondale. Visitation is 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Jimmy was born November 7, 1953, to Merlin and Betty (Killough) Remmele in Bridgeport, Texas. He was a graduate of Paradise High School. Jimmy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cottondale. He was a Lifetime Member of the NRA. Jimmy worked offshore in the oilfield industry. He was also a longtime cowboy working many years on several ranches in Colorado. After Colorado, Jimmy settled back in the place he called home, Remmele Farm in Paradise.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jewell Killough Remmele.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his father, Merlin Remmele; his sister, Debbie Remmele Leatherman and husband Danny of Paradise; his brothers, Harold Remmele and wife Renea of Paradise, Ben Remmele of Paradise, Thomas Gene Remmele and wife Lisa of Paradise; his sister-in-law, Anita Remmele of Paradise; numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family members and a host of friends.
