Decatur ~ Jimmy Lee Ragan, 61, a maintenance supervisor, went to be with our Lord Sunday, July 20 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Green Valley Cemetery.
Rev. Gerre Joiner will officiate.
Jimmy was born on March 16, 1953 to Dexter LeeRoy Ragan and Emma Edna Hampton in Dallas, Texas. He was united in marriage to Rebecca Sue James on September 26, 1971 in Dallas. Jimmy work as a maintenance supervisor at Governors Ridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Johnny Lee Ragan; his sisters, Ellen Williams and Sandy Glasscock; his niece, Jamie Davis.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Rebecca James Ragan of Decatur; his son, Jason Brice Ragan of Bedford; his daughter, Katherine Ann Ragan of Mansfield; 5 grandchildren, Faith, Raylee, Justin, Kaycee and Kody; and a host of friends.
