Jimmy was born June 11, 1953 to Sherphine and Joyce (Garner) Meyers in Fort Worth, Texas. He married Janet Parkhill on December 19, 1975 in Gainesville, Texas.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years, Janet Meyers of Decatur; 2 sons, Coby Meyers and wife Cheryl of Bridgeport, and Scott Meyers of Denton; 2 grandsons, Ryan and Justin Meyers of Bridgeport; sister, Diane Smith of Gainesville; brother, Jerry Meyers of Gainesville; nieces, nephews, and a host friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
