Decatur: Jimmie Leonard Lee, 68, of Decatur died Sunday, April 4, in Azle, Texas.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Thursday, April 8th, at Pleasant Grove #3 Cemetery in Chico. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Jimmie was born August 21, 1941 in Decatur, Texas to James and Mary Wallace Lee. He retired in 2002 after 32 years as a deliverer for the Fort Worth Star Telegram.
Left behind to cherish his memory are 3 daughters, Sheila Murray and husband Lonnie of Boyd, Cheryl Roberts of Poolville, and Joy Everheart and husband Tim of Springtown; 2 grandsons, Timothy Walton and Daniel Everheart; 4 grand daughters, Tabetha Lunsford, Tiffany Walton, Teshia Walton, and Katie Everheart; 2 great granddaughters, Bailey and Savana Lunsford; 1 sister, Bobette Smith and husband Curtis of Decatur; 1 brother, Tracy Lee of Conroe; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 grandsons, Jimmy West, Andrew Walton, and Matthew Walton, and a nephew, James Allen Lee.
