BRIDGEPORT -- Jim "Tubbo" Thompson, 55, an oilfield roustabout, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, August 1, 2010, in Bridgeport. Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. The Reverend Dana Coker to officiate. Speakers: Doug Bridwell and Chris Tackel.

Jim was born on January 16, 1955 to Bill and Wilda (Dunn) Thompson in Cisco. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Stacie Thompson of Azle, Katie Smith and husband Josh of Decatur; his two grandchildren, Hendrix and Harper; his sister, Paula Tolle of Bridgeport; other relatives and a host of friends.
