Alvord--Jettie Mae Claborn, 92, a homemaker, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, September 5, 2007 in Bridgeport. FUNERAL: 10:00 AM Saturday, September 8, 2007 at MT. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Bird, Rev. Kevin Moore, and Rev. Jim Baird to officiate. Visitation 6-7 PM Friday at Coker-Hawkins. BURIAL: Will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Alvord, Texas. Jettie was born October 2, 1914 in Alvord, Texas. She married Ezra Claborn on May 20, 1930 in Warika, Oklahoma at the age of 16. She was a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Alvord. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Ezra and 2 infant sons. SURVIVORS: Inclue Ray, Tonnie, Jodie, Rachel, Sam Shipley of Alvord and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
