Decatur: Jesus Noe Gonzalez, Sr., 62, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, August 5, 2010 in Decatur.
Funeral service is 3 p.m. Saturday, August 7th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Fred Villa officiating. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Juan Gonzalez, Jesus Gonzalez, Jr., Antonio Gonzalez, Sergio Gonzalez, Armonda Gonzalez and Jose Gonzalez.
Jesus was born on February 18, 1948 in Piedras Negras, Mexico to Noe and Maria Inez Lira Gonzalez. He married Gloria del Carmen Ozuna on June 10, 1970 in Zaragoza, Mexico. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife; nine sons, Jesus, Jr., Juan, Sergio, Feliciano, Jose, Antonio, Roberto, Carlos and Armondo Gonzalez, all of Decatur; three daughters, Maria Ochea, Christina Martinez both of Decatur and Brenda Sonora of Uvalde, Texas; brother, Rogelio Luna of Mexico; mother, Maria Inez, of Zaragoza, Mexico; and 28 grandchildren.
