Jesse was born on October 21, 1946 to Marlin W. and Ina Christine (Pierson) Hooper in Altus, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Jan Marie Harbert on July 19, 1967 in Claude, Texas. Jesse was a retired Fraud Investigator at Bank of America.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Jan Hooper of Springtown; 2 daughters, Christie Ramsey and husband Hank of Colleyville, and Tracy Hakimi and husband David of Denver; 4 grandchildren, Mason and Kendall Ramsey and Grant and Skylar Hakimi; extended family and a host of friends.
