Longview: Jesse Wayne Cook, 76, formerly of Decatur, went to be with our Lord on Friday, January 2, 2009 in Longview, Texas.
Private graveside service was held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 1 in Decatur on January 6, 2009.
Jesse was born May 3, 1932 in Bryson, Texas to J. Lee and Emma (Walker) Cook. He married JuAnna Horner in 1955 in Bryson, Texas and was married 30 years at her death in 1985. Jesse is also preceded in death by his brother Don Cook of Graham, Texas.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Phil Cook and wife, Teresa and Terry Cook both of Longview; 2 grandchildren, Amber Herrington and David Cook and 1 great grandson, Christian Herrington.
