Jerry Lynn (Dillard) Whiddon

Decatur ~ Jerry Lynn Whiddon, 83, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in Bridgeport, Texas.

Graveside Service is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Jerry was born August 4, 1939 to Claton Atwood and Gladys Dillard in Buffalo Gap, Texas. She was united in marriage September 28, 1958 to William J. Whiddon in Arlington, Texas. Jerry was a member of Eastern Star. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claton and Gladys Dillard.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, of 64 years, William "Bill" Whiddon of Decatur; her 3 sons, David Whiddon of Alvord, Curtis Whiddon and wife Mary of North Carolina, and Avian Whiddon and wife Tasha of North Richland Hills; 5 grandchildren, Luke, Nathan, Kyle, Alicia, and Bailey; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
