RUNAWAY BAY -- Jerry Ray Taylor, 76, of Runaway Bay went to be with our Lord on Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, in Bridgeport.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport. Rev. Ollin Collins will officiate.
Jerry was born on March 2, 1932, the son of George and Grace Taylor, in Pittsburgh, Texas. He was an entertainer and an inventor. He performed along with his wife as the Jerry and Lani Duo.
Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Terry Joe Taylor, and his sister, Peggy Pavlas.
Left behind to cherish his memory is: wife of 41 years, Lani Taylor of Runaway Bay; daughters, Sherry Kay Armstrong, Kari Dea Taylor, Llari Llee Schnieder, and Trina Rea Taylor; sons, Ricky Ray and Gary Linn Taylor; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Max Allrich; sister, Rhonda Dulworth.
