Bridgeport ~ Jerry Dale Liles, 82, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in Weatherford.

Graveside Service is 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3rd, at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton.

Jerry was born on January 9, 1944, to James and Jean (Seaman) Liles in Dallas. He was united in marriage to Lillian C. McDonald on December 27 in Mesquite, and they were happily married for 25 years. Jerry worked as a computer technician for Zales Corporation in Los Colinas. He was also a member of the Lions Club and the Tundra Baptist Church in Canton. Jerry was a beloved father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Tammy Henry; and his son, Jim Liles.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Lori Liles of Bridgeport, Cherryl Gummelt of Cypress, and Chris Liles and his wife, Bethany of Abilene; his step-children, David Yates and his wife, Kim, and Jodie Yates Strain and her husband, Justin; his sister, Jackie Milton; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
