Decatur ~ Jerry Kuykendall, 86, a retired service manager, went to be with our Lord Friday, June 19, 2015 in Decatur.
Private Graveside service was held.
Rev. Jack Gatewood will officiate.
Jerry was born on March 4, 1929 to Oscar and Ruby Kuykendall in San Antonio, Texas. He was united in marriage to Sue Stutts in Houston on July 20, 1951. Jerry retired from Ingersol Rand. In his retirement Jerry worked as a driver for James Woods Motors. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Sue Kuykendall of Decatur; his daughter, Ginger Flynt and husband Richard of Decatur; his sons, Pepper Kuykendall and wife Dianna of Midlothian, and T.J. Kuykendall and wife Vicky of Decatur; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to First Baptist Church Decatur, missions department or Cooks Children Hospital to the NICU.
