BOYD -- Jerald Mitchell "Radar" Woods, 61, a retired welder from Boyd Industries, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007. Graveside service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday in Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Jerald was born in Decatur, Texas, the son of Mitchell and Bunita (Stevens) Woods. He served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his wife Pamela Kay Woods.
He is survivored by his Parents: Mitchell "WM" and Bunita Woods of Boyd; Brother: Ricky Woods and wife Cindy of Boyd; nieces: Courtney and Danielle Woods: numerous cousins and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be: J.W. Fuller, Jimmy Farquhar, Tim Bailey, Thomas Lee Wilson, Jeff Mayhue, and Sammy Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Kenny Shepherd, Scott Nelon, Jason Nelon, Rusty Nelon, J.D. Niblett, and Ronny White.
