Jearene Hightower

Bridgeport ~ Jearene Hightower, 64, owner of Jearene’s Cottage, went to be with our Lord Sunday, March 11, 2018 in Denton.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Bro. Jason Hilliard will officiate. Pallbearers include Heath Wilson, Paul Spinder, Jerrit Rawlings, James Cook, Colby Shawn and David Correll. Honorary pallbearers include Spencer Hilliard, Anderson Hilliard and Johnny Wilson.

Jearene was born on September 10, 1953 to Marlin and Ima Jean (Culwell) Lewis in Fort Worth, Texas

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Butch Lewis.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Rawlings of Fort Worth; her daughter, Meg Hilliard and husband Jason of Duncanville; her grandchildren, Jerrit, Bailey, Preslee, Spencer, Brooklynn and Anderson; her sisters, Jeanell Cole of Bridgeport, Sheree Jones and husband Tim of Dublin and Brenda Rice of Bridgeport.
