Janett Lea (Mullins) Sloan

Decatur ~ Janett Lea Sloan, 70, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, December 6, 2023 in Denison, Texas.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Heath Flowers will officiate. Pallbearers include Michael Socia, Makayla Socia, Geovanni Arcos, Sidney Arcos, Natalie Sloan, and Richard Sloan.

Janett was born September 4, 1953 to Wesley Dwight and Rose Dalene (Eubanks) Mullins in Highlands, Texas. She was united in marriage in 2007 to Richard Ray Sloan in Madill, Oklahoma. Janet was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Rose Mullins; her son, Joseph Tynes; and her sister, Linda Mullins.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Richard Sloan of Madill, Oklahoma; her daughter, Diana Ketchum & husband Jayson of Decatur; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; a brother, Dwight Mullins; sister, Pam Mullins of Cameron, Louisiana; extended family members and a host of friends.
