Bridgeport ~Jane Ann "Janie" Fowler, 65, a retired police officer and investigator, went to be with our Lord Thursday, July 18, 2013 in Jacksboro.

Janie was born on June 13, 1947 to Edna Mae Bird in Brownfield, Texas. She was united in marriage to Robert Michael Fowler on February 27, 1993 in Parker County. Janie was a retired investigator for Parker County Sheriff's Office and a police officer for Runaway Bay.
She was preceded in death by her mother, and her brother, Bill Anderson.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Mike Fowler; her daughter, Erica Da Silva and husband Carlos of Stephenville; her son, Rodney Fowler of Weatherford; 3 grandchildren, Kristin, Kaj, and Landon; her sister, Sue Lasiter of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
