James Trent Sherman

James Trent Sherman, 63, passed from this earth Friday, August 2nd, 2024.

Visitation is 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 9 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

James was born September 11th, 1960 to Charles Dwayne and Jerilyn Ann (Luttrell) Sherman in Decatur, Texas. He was united in marriage in Arkansas to Stella Wilburn, happily married till her passing. James was retired from Imperial Group after many years as a Machinist. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jerilyn Sherman; and his wife, Stella Sherman.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Anna Giles and husband Rhett of Alvord; his son, Nathan Sherman of Decatur; grandchildren, Kanen, Jasper, and Warren Giles; his brothers, Tracy Sherman and wife Belinda of Decatur, and Tim Sherman and wife Melissa of Decatur; numerous extended Family and a host of friends.
