James "Bob/Bc" R. Childress

Boyd ~ James “Bob/B.C.” R. Childress, 68, a retired Southwestern Bell Telephone employee, went to be with our Lord Sunday, June 21, 2015 in North Richland Hills.
Memorial service is 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Boyd.
Rev. Mark Autry will officiate.
Bob was born on June 24, 1946 to William and Madge (Fitzgerald) in Stamford, Texas. He was united in marriage to Sue Smith on January 13, 1967. Bob was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 35 years of dedicated service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Peggy Landreth.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Sue Childress of Boyd; his son, Bill Childress and wife Cindy of Boyd; his daughter, Peggy Mattingly and husband Paul of Michigan; his grandchildren, Skye, Harley, Ryan, J.D., Kayla and Randi; his brother, John Childress and wife Ellen of Dallas; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
