James H. Simon

Memorial is 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Friday before the service.

Rev. Paul Cantrell will officiate.

James was born on May 20, 1934 to Leon and Della (Trimm) Simon in Norwood, New York. He was united in marriage to Sharon Irene Parker on March 6, 1976 in Homestead, Florida. James served his country and retired from the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Sharon Simon of Bridgeport; his daughter, Sherry Bentley and husband Wayne of Bridgeport; his son, Jimi Lee Isenberg and wife Deanna Gray of Irving; his daughter, Elizabeth Robinson and husband Keith Crackwell of Bedford, England; 10 grandchildren, Marcus, Daniel, Tristan, Tracey, Amanda, Jeremy, Brittany, Jamie, James, and Zoe; 10 great grandchildren; his brother, Lloyd Simon and wife Maude of Fort Edward, New York; his sister, Mary Reynolds of Merritt Island, Florida; other family members and a host of friends.
