EULESS, TX -- James E. "Jim" Shawn, Jr., 70, an employee of Jesco Foundation and Repair, died Thursday, July 26, 2007.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2007 at Balsora Baptist Church, Balsora with Rev. James Rincker officiating.
Burial: Willow Point Cemetery.
Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Jim was born Jan. 24, 1937 in Bridgeport to James E. and Mary Parsons Shawn. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of the VFW Post 157 and Elks Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parentsm and aunt, Bertie Englund and her husband, Bill. Survivors: Daughters, Kimberly Smith of Gainesville and Vonda Shawn Joiner of Dallas Son: James E. Shawn III of Euless Stepsons: David, Dean and Loyd Kirkpatrick 3-Grandchildren, 8-Step Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild Brothers: Donny, Bobby, Billy and Jerald Shawn Sisters: Gracie DeLay and Linda Ferguson
