Bridgeport - James D. Mills, 52, a retired truck driver went to be with our Lord on Thursday, November 26, 2009 in Bridgeport.
Memorial: 4 p.m. Saturday at Central Fellowship in Decatur.
James was born on June 30, 1957 in El Campo, Texas, the son of Lonnie and Norma Jean (Pitts) Mills. He was a member of the Central Fellowship in Decatur.
James was preceded in death by his father; his brother, Howard Mills; and his brother-in-law, Richard Thomas.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 13 years, Kathy of Bridgeport; his daughter, Khristi Hardee and companion Mark of Bowie; 5 grandchildren, Katie Mullen, Destinee and Reagan Hardee, Stetson and Levi Wahlstrom; his stepmother, Rosemary Mills of Paradise; his brother, Tom Mills and wife- Kelly of Lake Bridgeport; his sister, Carla Thomas of Chico; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
