Lake Bridgeport ~ James David Messick, 62, a retired oilfield worker, went to be with our Lord Saturday, October 10, 2015 in Lake Bridgeport.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
James was born on August 16, 1953 to Douglas Keith and Molly Mae (Reed) Messick in Dallas, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Heather Messick.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Adam Messick and wife Wendy of Lake Bridgeport, Nathan Messick and wife Tiffany of Bowie, and Coledan Messick of Lake Bridgeport; his sister, Debra Thomasson and her husband Larry of Wylie; his brothers, Bruce Messick and wife Susan of Paradise, Jerry Thompson and wife Kathie of Grass Valley, California; his grandchildren, Steph, Joey, Jacob, Lindsey, Heather, and Whitney, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and a host of friends.
