Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 2nd at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
James was born on May 15, 1951 in Belton, Texas to William Fletcher and Charlene (Twiggs) Key. He was a graduate of University of North Texas and he served in the United States Army. James was owner of Key Heat & Air in Alvord.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his two brothers, William Fletcher Key, Jr., of Honduras, John Key and wife, Wyndy of Muskogee, Oklahoma; four sisters, Cindy Glover and husband, Paul, Janet Nelson and husband Brad and Donna Key all from Muskogee, Oklahoma; Mary Stahnke and husband, Alan of Temple, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and host of friends.
James is preceded in death by his brother Charles Ray Key of Fort Worth.
