Decatur: James Thomas Hughes, 38, a truck driver, went to be with our Lord, Monday, September 3, 2012 in Decatur.
Memorial service is 3 p.m. Sunday, September 9th at Cundiff Baptist Church. Family will receive friends 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
James was born on December 18, 1973 in Fort Worth, Texas to James Stanley Huckabee and Carol Sharline Hughes. He was a truck driver for Triple M Tank Trucks in Chico, Texas.
James was united in marriage to Shanna May Moss on February 14, 1997 in Decatur, Texas.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Shanna Hughes; 2 sons, Shawn and Zachary Hughes; father, James Huckabee of Joshua, Texas; mother, Carol Sherwood of Fort Worth; brother, William Charles Hughes of Godley; grandmother, Ruth Huckabee of Joshua; other family members and a host of friends.
