James Marion Hilley

Comanche ~ James Marion Hilley, 88, a retired car body repairman left this life Friday, January 18, 2019, in Decatur.

James was born on February 17, 1930, to John and Eula (Chambers) Hilley in Sidney, Texas. He was united in marriage to his first wife Gwen Rainey and second wife Guillermina “GiGi”. James was a retired car body repairman. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church. James proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his 2 wives; his sisters, Shirley Steinnan, Alice, and Lorene; his brothers, Oscar, Alton, John, James, Carl, and Gene Hilley.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are son, Phil Hilley of New Braunfels; his daughters, Lora Hilley of Midland, and Roxann Burns and husband Bill of Newcastle; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
