James Ray "Jim" Haire, Sr.

James Ray “Jim” Haire, Sr.,63, of Sunset passed from this earth Saturday, September 5, 2026.

Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 10th at First Baptist Church in Alvord with burial at Sunset Cemetery.

Cole Wells will officiate. Pallbearers include James Haire, Jr., Blake Haire, Justin Haire, Dustin Haire, Jerry Haire, David Beauchamp, and Chris Bull.

Jim was born April 27, 1963 to Jerry Wayne and Roberta Lea (Hoffman) Haire, Sr. in Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba. He was united in marriage August 10, 2006 to Mary Paulette Shero in Ft. Worth, Texas. Jim was an equipment tech at North Texas Bells for many years. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Roberta Haire, Sr., and his wife, Mary Haire.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Aubrey Spaeth and husband Jason, and Autumn Garrison and husband Jeff; his son, James Haire, Jr. and wife Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Amelia & Jeremiah Spaeth, Andrea, Joshua & Allison Garrison, Annabeth Haire, Amber Ramirez, Aiden Ortega, and Johette Pagan; his brothers, Jerry Haire, Jr. and wife Julie, and Randy Haire and wife Elizabeth; his sisters, Brenda Berrios and husband Juan, and Peggy Sanchez and husband Mark; extended family and a host of friends.
