Lake Bridgeport ~ James Edward Gill, 81, a retired janitor, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in Fort Worth.
Graveside service is 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery #1 in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate.
James was born on July 11, 1933 to Marvin and Irene (Leonard) Gill in Dalhart, Texas. He was united in marriage to Racheal Eldridge. James was a retired janitorial worker for Imperial Fabrications in Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Racheal Gill; his twin brothers, Earl and Burl Gill; his brother John Gill; his sisters, Mary Otwell, Betty McCann, Darlene Gill, and Sally Ruth Gill.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, John W. Gill of Lake Bridgeport; his daughters, Sandra Gill and Richard Williams of Runaway Bay, Denise Stidham of Fort Worth; his granddaughter, Rachell DeLay; his sisters, Jo Ann Martin and husband PeeWee of Granbury, Linda Gill of Denton; other family members and a host of friends.
