Azle ~ James Wesley Galttana, 67, of Azle went to be with our Lord Monday, June 22, 2020.
Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2020 at Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Pastor Shane Scott to officiate.
James was born August 20, 1952 to Willie Curtis “W.C.” and Mary Barber Galttana in Bridgeport, Texas. He was a driver for City Concrete in Rhome.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cheryle Galttana; his granddaughter, Kaitlynn Edgar, and a brother, Curtis Ray Galttana.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, James Galttana, Jr. of Azle, and Corby Edgar and wife Karyle of Springtown; his daughter, Candice Edgar of Azle; his grandchildren, Tiffany, McKenzie, Tyler, Karmin, and Jessica; his great-grandson, Beckham; his brother, Billy Galttana and wife Donna of Boyd; his sisters, Katherine Ferguson of Azle, Liz Thomas of Azle, Jenny Melton of Boyd, and Edith Rothrock of Weatherford; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
