Memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Boyd with Rev. Ed Volfe officiating.
James was born on August 3, 1938 to James C. and Estelene (Gillespie) in Knox City, Texas. He married Karen Jane Kent on September 13, 1958. He attended and graduated with a B.S. in mathematics in 1961 from Texas Technical College now Texas Tech University. James
