PARADISE -- James Cleary Follett Jr., 80, a retired quality assurance supervisor for Bell Helicopter, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, July 18, in Decatur.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday. Officiating: Diane Oswald. Honorary Pallbearers: Jim Follett, John Follett, Mark Caldwell, Sam Follett, Steven Follett, Gary Follett, and Travis Caldwell. Memorials may be made to: Texas Scottish Rite Hosptial for Children, PO Box 199300, Dallas, Texas 75219-9300.
Mr. Follett was born Oct. 29, 1926 in Buffalo, NY to James C. and Beulah Adams Follett. He married Nancy Ann Pixley Oct. 23, 1949 in Franklinville, NY. James was a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran serving in World War II, a 32nd Degree Mason with Lodge 123 in Dundee, NY, a member of the Corning Consistory in Corning, NY , Past Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star and First Presbyterian Church in Franklinville, NY.
Survivors: wife of 57 years, Nancy Follett of Paradise; sons, James C. Follett III and wife Kathey of Sherman, John Michael Follett and wife Mary of North Richland Hills; daughter, Sue Caldwell and husband Mark of Euless; grandchildren, Jennifer, Sam, Steven, Gary, Travis, and Shelby; sisters, Joan Long, Patricia Thompson and husband Glen; several nieces and nephews.
