Decatur - James Ray Carter, 70, of Wister, Oklahoma died Thursday, December 12, 2013.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Oaklawn Cemetery. There will be no set family visitation.
James was born September 22, 1943 in Decatur, Texas to John James and Wilma Jean (Reed) Carter. He was a retired licensed electrician.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Jeff England of Arlington; sister, Vickie Turlington of Decatur; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
