James Earl Bedgood

Decatur ~ James Earl Bedgood, 82, of Decatur died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in Decatur.
Graveside service will be 4 p.m. Friday at Pleasant Grove #1 Cemetery with Brent Nordan officiating. There will be no set family visitation.
James was born March 17, 1932 in Plaquemine, Louisiana to George Harvey and Gladys Lucille (Deere) Bedgood. He married Peggy Sue Heel on June 27, 1959 and they were married 47 years till her passing in 2007. James was also a Captain in the United States Air Force and later retired from the Federal Aviation Administration.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Ronald Bedgood of Boyd, and Jimmy Bedgood and wife Leslie of Trophy Club; 6 grandchildren, Kimberly Pruitt, Alan Bedgood, Rachel Langston, Madison Bedgood, Summer Bedgood, and Seth Bedgood; 12 great grandchildren; a brother; and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a great grandson.
